During their lifetime, some people sense that there is a Creator God. A few want to know more about this Cosmic Creator and will want to find a spiritual teacher. There are countless priests, pastors, witch doctors, advisors, teachers, and gurus who are alive today who give made-up answers derived from learned sources.
Many associate with spiritual nibblers and certain religious dogmatists will find themselves lacking when it comes to devotion.
Many newbies settled for someone or something convenient; a light-hearted Churchianity. Others search like a dedicated detective for a genuine soul source – someone who has made contact and has had conversations and intuitive oneness with the Cosmic Creator called God. Some Self-realized masters who have communicated with the Creator God have passed on.
Ernest seekers look for someone who can train them to experience and live in that Cosmic Consciousness.
The Yogic Path To Truth
Yoga, the science of self-realization, is the science of knowing God. As a science, it is a systematic method based on actual evidence. This backbone for God’s Self-realization is called Yoga.
A devotee who has had contact with God knows there is no life, no death, only eternal existence and that there is oneness with the Father, the universal Mother, and Friend for all existence. As Jesus said, “I and the Father are one”. Reaching that realized conclusion for an outsider, is faster if one took a scientific approach.
Most are caught up in the day-to-day struggles of living in their flesh-orientated bodies. Nearly all have the same basic wants as their pets: food, a safe shelter to sleep, and sex, (unless neutered), is the top-shelf mindset for animals and pets. But there should be more to existence with the resources embedded in human beings.
Common sense is the source of relieving oneself from suffering. Without a shortcut of wisdom, it’s like trying to move an obstacle like a giant boulder to a different location.
Using all one’s power and even help from friends might be to no avail to move an oversized rock. However, using the leverage of a simple fulcrum can finalize movement toward that desired direction. Simply, using a form of science that works hastens the journey. So, why not use scientific meditation techniques that a true spiritual teacher master used to know God? Since, ignorance is the root cause of all suffering, why not take a look into a faster solution?

There Are Slow Roads, There Are Highways
An emissary or spiritual teacher for that wisdom for Cosmic Consciousness realization was given to Earth revealing a scientific way to access self-realization. Babaji initiated one person to spread what has been called the lightening path to self-realization. That method, called Kria yoga, is a fulcrum, a faster path to realization.
What one learns in a few hours, days, years, or a lifetime, can be a roller coaster experience. A lot depends on one’s upbringing, friends, and teachers along the way. There are many with slim yet convinced attitudes of faith that have assumed “teacher” roles. There are even half-baked interpreters of scriptures that made themselves into seekers’ lives; it is a clubhouse for many ideas and views.
You might have been blessed by the homeless, like in the streets of Newark, after you give them spare coins as they lift an empty cardboard coffee cup to your window. I usually get a “God bless you” from them. But who does a seeker of God go to in order to learn a true science in order to make the fastest progress?
Spiritual Teacher Stepping Stones Along The Path
The first step we are told to take by the ancient masters is meditation. But that is only the beginning of baby steps in learning how to walk. Anyone on a journey notices signs and might encounter distractions along the way. There are all kinds of spiritual teachers and books that could lead us astray in this world of delusion.
The fastest and best way to learn a trade, technique, or skill is by working alongside an adept teacher. One who has passed all tests, one who has lived a Christ-like life is worth diving into; then study their teaching education.
The beauty of Kria Yoga is that it is scientific; it has no dogmas. With a God-realized guru, it has given us a faster path with little to no limitations. Meditation is not what most think. His teachings get us beyond that and into perceptional intuition and realization. The infinite contains the finite.
Basically, the finite cannot contain the infinite. God is infinite. It’s only by personal intuition that one can realize within the touch of the Cosmic Creator God. Until we make a connection, our efforts are superficial and fail to connect with our soul deeply.
Jesus, Bhagavan Krishna, and others have passed the test for a personal guru whose life mission was for our self-realization of God’s Consciousness for many.
They and others had that Christ Consciousness, “I and God are one” dialed in. Yet, to reach and converse with those who had exited their bodies thousands of years ago is virtually impossible for most.
Also, the extent of their Christ Consciousness expressed in written teachings is sparse even though their contribution and impact on the world were HUGE. Jesus was active for only 3 years and look at his impact!
Spiritual Teacher Detective Work Required
For those who interpreted and edited their works, they might have brought confusion to some. Unless having the same Christ Consciousness, bias, often a worldly-influenced interpretation will prevail. For some, the analogy points of reference for distant eras might not fit clearly on their mind’s movie screen.

Accordingly, we are all our Creator’s children down here in Earth school and He, The Cosmic Consciousness, does send a light beam in the form of a great soul to help us evolve at certain times. That journeyer from the cosmic high ground makes it their mission to visit Earth as a teacher. It takes a lot of detective work for some to find such a light of God that one can rely on as a personal teacher.
Finding a spiritual teacher as a guru, one who lived a clean life, and demonstrated sainthood and realization, requires serious detective work. We study their past history for personal clues to the depth of their stature.
With the habit of meditation using scientific techniques, we get to see beyond our physical eyes. Yogananda followed a certain path and shared specific scientific methods for God’s contact with his students.
